While there are no data sources for people who are "solo aging" according to current definitions, the U.S. Census data reports on who is living alone. We use this as a proxy for solo aging.

Scholars at the Gerontology Institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston are compiling aging-related data maps for states. Through 2025, the Institute has released reports for Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, Mississippi, and Wyoming.
